Provide customer service and information to guests. Sweep public areas of the Deer Park. Clean animal paddocks and provide feed to animals.
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions. Ability to life up to 50 lbs. Animal care background preferred, including large animals.
Provide superior customer service to guests as they enter the park. Answer guests' questions as needed. Operate point-of-sale station to process ticket sales. Occasionally provide customer service and ticket sales functions via telephone.
Excellent customer service skills required; point-of-sale and cash-handling experience preferred. Friday and weekend availability a must.
Request customer order, ring up on register, serve food, and receive payment. Perform other duties to prepare food, serve customers, and maintain clean eating or serving areas.
Customer service and oral communication skills are required. Teamwork, adaptability, and dependability are needed for this position. Food service experience preferred. Must be available to work through the end of the season.
Operate cash register and assist customers in retail stores. Stock, arrange, and price merchandise to promote sales. Maintain a clean and orderly store area.
Ability to respond quickly to customer needs. Retail experience, cash handling, and/or customer service preferred. Knowledge of the retail point-of-sale program helpful. Friday and weekend availability a must.
Operate amusement park rides and give directions to patrons regarding the safety and operation of the rides. Observe patrons boarding the attraction to ensure they are safely seated and that safety restraints are secure. Move controls to start and stop equipment such as the Chair Lift, Merry-Go-Round, and Ferris Wheel. Drive vehicles such as Mouse Mine Train, guiding and controlling the speed. Conduct safety inspections and perform routine maintenance. Must provide superior customer service to Guests.
Must be at least 18 years old. No prior experience is necessary; if you are dependable and like to work with people, we will train. Must be available to work through the end of the season.
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the park grounds. Maintain the grounds and landscape of the park by planting, trimming, and cultivating the trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns of the park.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Mow and trim grass and lawns in the park.
Minimum age is 18.
We will begin hiring for our 2017 shows at our on-site auditions on January 28 and 29, 2017. Auditions will be held in the Tweetsie Palace with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. (You do not need to attend both days.)

Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, amusement park rides, trains and other equipment.
Extensive experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Experience with live electricity, welding, or plumbing is especially helpful.
We will have numerous special events during our 2017 season. Most events occur in the daytime, but some are evening events. A variety of duties will be available, possibly including cashier, food service, inflatable ride operation, and others. This staff will work as needed during our 2017 special events. These positions are ideal for people with limited availability. Availability from May 9 through 18 will be especially helpful, with other dates as needed during the season.
