Golden Rail Season Pass holders can call this number to reserve a date and train ride time.

Tweetsie Railroad is operating according to the regulations set by the state of North Carolina for outdoor amusement parks and rides. We have adapted our operations to provide the best experience for you and your family -- all while keeping your health and safety a priority.

During your visit we ask that you practice the W's:

    • Face coverings must be worn at all times, indoors and outdoors, as well as on rides for anyone age 5 or older. Some exceptions may apply. Click here for more information from the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

    • Capacity will be limited to allow for proper social distancing throughout the park and on rides.

    • In accordance with state-mandated social distancing, space is limited on the Wild West train ride. On the day of your visit you can be guaranteed only one ride on this feature attraction. General admission tickets now specify a specific date and one train ride time. Advance tickets are required; tickets that include a train ride may not be available at the door if this ride reaches its permitted capacity.

    • Amusement rides will be open. However, wait times for amusement rides may be increased to allow for proper social distancing and regular cleaning. (Rides may be closed during inclement weather or for maintenance.)

    • Face coverings or masks are required on all amusement rides. Social distancing is not always possible while ride operators are assisting Guests on or off the ride, and while checking safety harnesses and constraints.

    • Live entertainment shows will continue as scheduled. However, capacity will be limited for Diamond Lil’s Can-can Revue and the Magic Show in the Tweetsie Palace.

    • Indoor dining will be limited; additional seating will be available at outdoor picnic tables and covered picnic areas.

    • Retail venues will be limited capacity to accommodate proper social distancing.

    • Some attractions will be closed until later in the season, including the Blacksmith Shop and Face Paint on Miner’s Mountain.
