DOWT SCHEDULE & OPERATIONS (JUNE 11 -20):

  • We will be open daily for Day Out With Thomas - June 11 - 20, from 10 am - 6 pm, except on Saturdays when we open at 9 am.
  • Tickets are for a specific date and train ride time. Ride only at the time indicated on your ticket, as there is limited space in the train cars.
  • The first train will depart Main Street around 10:30 am (9:50 am on Saturdays). Additional trains will run every 40 minutes with the last train departing around 4:30 pm.

  • Some attractions will be closed until later in the season or open intermittently, including the Blacksmith Shop, Funnel Cake Shop, Sparky's BBQ, Mountain Ice Cream, and Face Paint. The Tweetsie Twister is currently closed for a major renovation.

SUMMER SCHEDULE & OPERATIONS (JUNE 21 - AUGUST 15):

  • Due to staffing challenges, we will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer season. View our online calendar to plan your visit.
  • The first train will depart Main Street around 10:30 am. Additional trains will run throughout the day with the last train departing around 5:00 pm.

  • Some attractions will be closed until later in the season or open intermittently, including the Blacksmith Shop, Funnel Cake Shop, Sparky's BBQ, Mountain Ice Cream, and Face Paint. The Tweetsie Twister is currently closed for a major renovation.

TICKETS:

  • General Admission tickets for daytime operations will be valid for any day and any train time except during Day Out With Thomas, June 11-20, 2021.

  • Tickets for Day Out With Thomas, General Admission and Golden Rail Season Passes can be purchased online or by phone at 877-TWEETSIE (893-3874). Golden Rail Season Pass holders can call this number to reserve a date and train ride time.

  • Ghost Train and Tweetsie Christmas tickets will be available later in the season.


SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • In accordance with guidance from the CDC and the State of NC, face coverings are recommended for anyone who has not been vaccinated where you cannot maintain six feet of social distance.
