Yes. Sections of the park are level; however, due to mountain terrain, there are some hills. There is a bus that runs regularly from the Tweetsie Palace up to Miner’s Mountain. Both the Wild West Train (second car) and Mouse Mine Train are accessible for standard-sized wheelchairs. All show and food venues are accessible to guests with special needs.
Wheelchairs are available for rent at the Photo Depot on Main Street ($10 per day). Guests are encouraged to bring their own wheelchair. The park has a limited supply and they are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Please note: the park does not have electric wheelchairs or electric convenience vehicles (ECV) for rent.
(Rentals will not be carried over to the next day on an "After 3:00 Next Day Free" ticket.)
Tweetsie Railroad does not rent motorized wheelchairs.
The parking area for Guests with Disabilities is located next to the front entrance. All vehicles using a designated disability parking space must have a state or province issued license plate or disability tag.
Parking is free for all Guests except on July 4 when a $10 per car parking fee is charged. (Parking is FREE for Golden Rail Season Pass holders.)
All Tweetsie Railroad show venues are accessible to Guests with special needs.
For your convenience, you may want to consider entering the venue 15 minutes prior to the published show time to allow easier access.
