FALL DAYTIME SCHEDULE & OPERATIONS (THROUGH OCTOBER 31):
- Due to staffing challenges, we will be open on Saturday and Sunday for regular daytime operations. View our online calendar to plan your visit.
The first train will depart Main Street around 10:30 am. Additional trains will run throughout the day with the last train departing around 5:00 pm.
Some attractions will be closed until later in the season or open intermittently, including the Blacksmith Shop, Funnel Cake Shop, Sparky's BBQ, Mountain Ice Cream, and Face Paint. The Tweetsie Twister is currently closed for a major renovation.
Please expect some wait times to be increased at our eating venues and amusement rides.
Multiple rides may be operated by a single operator. However, wait times should still be moderate.
- Ghost Train will run every Friday and Saturday evening, 7:30 - 11:30 pm from September 24 - October 30, 2021.
- The first train will depart Main Street around 8:00 pm. Additional trains will run every 30-minutes throughout the evening. (Except on Saturday, October 16, 23 & 30, the first train will depart at 7:30 pm)
- Miner's Mountain and the chair lift are not open during this special evening event. Some attractions will be closed or open intermittently, including the Blacksmith Shop, Funnel Cake Shop, and Sparky's BBQ.
General Admission tickets for daytime operations will be valid for any day and any train time.
Tickets for General Admission and Golden Rail Season Passes can be purchased online or by phone at 877-TWEETSIE (893-3874). Golden Rail Season Pass holders can call this number to reserve a date and train ride time.
Ghost Train and Tweetsie Christmas tickets will be available later in the season.
In accordance with guidance from the CDC and the State of NC, face coverings are recommended for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, in public indoor settings.
All Tweetsie Railroad employees will wear masks when indoors.
